Question:

Do your vehicles come with emissions?

Answer:

Yes. All of our vehicles come with a current emission sticker or an emission voucher that guarantees the car will pass the Colorado enhanced emissions test. In addition to tail pipe gasses the enhanced emission test checks alignment, brakes, transmission and tires. A problem with any of these systems could cause a vehicle to fail the emissions test. The fact that a car has passed this test is a good indication that the vehicle is roadworthy. Only vehicle listed in our catalogs and/or announced at the time of sale, as "Inoperable" will not be eligible for emission guarantee. Out of an average of 300 vehicles per sale only 20-30 are "Inoperable".

Question:

Where does Pacific Auction Companies get the vehicles they sell?

Answer:

Our vehicles come from Banks, Credit Unions and financial institutions as repossessions. We also sell New car trade’s and vehicles that have been donated to the charities. Additionally we sell for wholesale dealers and private parties.

-------------------------------------------------------
Question:

Why do wholesale dealers sell their cars at your auction?

Answer:

A Wholesale Dealer cannot sell to the public. They cannot issue permits, solicit business,  business, issued emission vouchers or sell directly to the general public. A Wholesaler can sell a vehicle through a retail dealer such as us. We offer the wholesale dealer an outlet to sell their cars to the general public. These are the same cars that are general sold at dealer only auto auction to your neighborhood used car dealer. The difference is- YOU CAN NOW BUY IT FOR THE SAME PRICE A DEALER WOULD PAY!!!

-------------------------------------------------------
Question:

Do these vehicles have a minimum bid price that has to be reached before they are sold?

Answer:

We sell numerous charity vehicles that are no reserve. Most newer vehicles will have a reserve price. That’s the down side. The HUGE up side is that any reserve price we accept will be well below the NADA (Blue Book) WHOLESALE price. All of our vehicles with reserves are required to be a bargain, based against the current market. Most vehicles are 30% to 50% less than comparable vehicles advertised in the newspaper classifieds!!!

The entire auction should only take approximately 2 1/2 hours!
